The department of Cochabamba is located in the heart of Bolivia. Its name is derived from Quechua and means “swampy plain” The city itself lies in a verdant valley surrounded by the Herradura mountain range whose highest point is Tunari Peak. Its fertile lands and extensive variety of agricultural products have earned Cochabamba the title… “The garden of Bolivia”
