BOLIVIA - LAND OF MYSTICAL MYSTERY

culture of Bolivia0Bolivia, located in the heart of South America, is a unique and fascinating country full of contrast and surprises. It is a place where modern logic can lose its meaning, and where the mystical and pagan are part of daily life.

Bolivia has a priceless variety of natural, historical and cultural resources, including beautiful Andean vistas, Incan ruins, pristine rainforests, Lake Titicaca and much, much more. Traditional music and dance, handicrafts, market days and festivals still play an important role in the daily life of Bolivians. A visit to Bolivia provides a fascinating opportunity to explore another world, still rooted in traditional values, where the sacred and the mythical are part of daily life.

NATURAL ENVIRONMENT IN BOLIVIA

Traveling from the Andes to the Amazonian basin of Bolivia, nothing is impossible. Its geography is so varied that in only one day one can go from the cool windswept Andes to the steaming jungles of the Amazon basin, from the mystical Bolivia of a thousand sensations to the abundant and exuberant Bolivia of a thousand colors. The transition is extremely interesting, the Andean landscape, colors, land with its white snow-peaked mountains begin to transform little by little into green valleys and then the Amazon rainforest. The Bolivian Andes are crowned by the majestic Royal Mountain Range. One of the most important mountain groups in the world, they extend from the southeastern mount Illimani all the way to the northeastern mount Illampu, The Bolivian Amazon in the northeast of the country forms part of the worlds’ lungs due to its impressive vegetation. Abundant ecological biodiversity and rich cultural heritage is present throughout the national territory, from the Andes to the Amazon, which are protected by Bolivian National Parks
